Would members please note that the club cannot permit the use of it'shand held VHF radios when sailing privately. The reason for this isbecause of licensing restrictions.
The area in the corner of Shelley beach which is operated by EDDC is being tidied up and any vessels not possessing a permit are in the process of being removed.
Ted Draper would like the club to start producing a “year book”. It would be published in January, record the main successes of the old year and provide key information about the year ahead. This will be a new publication for us. Target audience is current members, new members, visitors and (in time) historians. If anyone would like to consider helping with this project, please get in touch for a chat (Ted on 07794-597-547).
