 ng position fixing, course shaping and plotting, tidal knowledge, use o
 f almanacs and admiralty publications, electronic position finding equi
 pment, taking and interpreting forecasts, plotting weather systems, wea
 ther predictions using a barometer.DURATIONThe course is taught over Su
