Feva Usage Policy Feva Policy Any use of the boats must be agreed with the Junior Sub Committee in advance. Feva Usage policy The sailing club owns five Feva’s – three new boats that are for the exclusive use of the Exe Squad and two older boats which are also used by the training centre. The Feva’s will be made available to the Exe squad sailors for training events, club racing and Feva events. The allocation of boats will be decided by the coaches taking each training session with help from the Junior Sub Committee. Any use of the boats must be agreed with the Junior Sub Committee in advance. The boats will be rotated between the Exe Squad sailors to ensure all get to use the boats equally on a rota basis. It is the responsibility of each sailor using a club Feva to make sure that the boat is properly cared for: The boat should not be dragged up the beach unless on a trolley. The boat should not be left unattended with its sails up. When launching and recovering care should be taken to avoid the boat hitting the bottom. This should apply to centreboards and rudders as well. When sailing collisions should be avoided Any damage that does occur should be reported asap to the Junior Sub Committee so that repairs can be made.
