RYA Powerboat Level 2 - 25th and 26th October
AIM
Provides the skills and background knowledge needed by the competent powerboat driver and is the basis of the International Certificate of Competence. It aims to teach boat handling and seamanship in powerboats. It focuses on low speed close quarters handling, man overboard recovery, an introduction to driving at planing speed, and collision regulations. Qualification needed if you're keen to help out at the club.

Cost: £200 members £350 non-members (50% deposit required)

Powerboat gear to include
Waterproof jacket and trousers
Buoyancy aid (minimum 50 Newtons) or Lifejacket
Footwear that can get wet
Sun protection including suncream/sun hat
Warm hat and layers for colder days
Notebook and pen
One Passport Photo for your certificate
Waterbottle
Packed lunch (extra snacks/drinks available when club bar is open)
