SPLASH NIGHT
Aimed at juniors that aren't quite old enough to start the RYA Youth Sailing Scheme just yet. They can start Splash Night from the age of 5.
An evening of fun on/in the water in a dinghy with an instructor. A great way to introduce juniors to sailing.
A parent/designated guardian will need to be present at club throughout the evening.
Cost: £4 per child for members, £8 per child for non-members.
FRIDAY FUN NIGHT
Aimed at juniors and youth sailing who want to practice their skills in a safe and fun environment.
You need to have passed RYA Stage 2 and there will be instructors about to help out and safety boats on the water.
Club boats are available or use your own boat.
Cost: £4 per child (members only)
Register for both opens at 6pm please bring your child fully kitted up to get their tally band. Please note, children remain the responsibility of the parent/guardian until handed over to the instructors at briefing.

Parents and Volunteers
We will ensure that safe ratios are maintained on the water but will be immensely grateful for all the help through the evening. There are a wide range of duties both on and off the water with need to filled each week. Even if you are not signed up to duty please do help out wherever you can.
Kit to bring.
- Sailing gear to include
- Wetsuit
- Buoyancy aid for competent swimmers (minimum 50 Newtons) (we have some if needed)
- Life jackets (foam) to be worn by non swimmers (minimum 100 Newtons)
- Footwear (Grippy shoes that can get wet. Wetsuit boots or shoes, or trainers are fine, Plimsoles, Crocs or Wellies not ok)
- Swim gear and/or rash vest for under the wetsuit
- Waterproof jacket or spray top
- Towel
- Sun protection including suncream/sun hat
- Warm hat for colder days
- Water bottle is useful
