Junior Race Training and Race Series 2026
For Juniors who are interested in racing, who have completed RYA Stage 3 to those who are competing at national and world events.
The Race Series, starts on 23rd April, running on Thursday Evenings at 1800.
Schedule
Race training and racing in the estuary. Please arrive in kit ready and rigged ready for briefing start at 18:00.
Eligibility
Sailors must have achieved Stage 3 or equivalent.
A Parent/Carer must have completed an entry form for the series.
Parent/Carer Responsibilities
Please attend registration with your child at the start of each session and remain on site throughout, unless you've nominated an alternative on the entry form. Parents/carers must be available to take responsibility for their child if needed.
Volunteers are always welcome and needed. Please volunteer via the website (please login before following this link) or let us know if you're able to help.
Kit Requirements
Sailors should come prepared for changeable British conditions. A wetsuit (shortie or full-length depending on conditions) and wetsuit boots are mandatory. We also recommend thermal base layers, aquafleece or spray jacket and fleece, hat and gloves for cooler evenings.
