Splash 2025

AIM

Aimed at our juniors that aren't quite old enough to start the RYA Youth Sailing Scheme just yet. They can start Splash Night from the age of 5.

An evening of fun on/in the water in a dinghy with an instructor. A great way to introduce juniors to sailing.

A parent/designated guardian will need to be present to help out throughout the evening.

DURATION

Once a fortnight on Friday evenings, 6pm-8pm, dates below.

REQUIRED EXPERIENCE

None. Children will be supervised by instructors. Parents/designated guardians will be asked to help out, particularly on shore and in safety boats

MINIMUM AGE

Minimum age: 5 yrs

Cost: £5 per child per session, you can book per session (on each event) or for all (below)

Splashnight will be run by our team of volunteer sailing instructors and parent helpers. We will ensure that safe ratios are maintained on the water but will be immensely grateful for parents/designated guardians to be on hand to help rig and de-rig boats and help whilst boats and children are on the shore. We are always happy to take out willing parents/designated guardians in the safety boats too. Any help is always appreciated by our volunteer instructors.
