Sailability here at Exe Sailing Club has been around since 2007 and we were awarded the King’s Award for Voluntary Service in 2024.
Our amazing King’s Award
This is what we had written on our Award certificate “Recognising ability not disability, opening barriers to inspire disadvantaged sailors” and we are proud to say that that is exactly what we do. All 100 volunteers, Monday to Friday every week from April to September, look forward to introducing you to our passion, sailing!

- Once we have shown you what is available we will talk to you about what you need to make the sessions work for you. It might mean you want a number of options rather than just one.
- If you are happy then we will look at adding you to our schedules for the season, they are of course subject to availability but we will try to fit you in if we can.
