Exe member takes 2nd place at International Canoe Class Nationals

Club member Adam May took a well deserved 2nd place at this year's International Canoe Class National Championships, held last week at Castle Cove Sailing Club. With first place taken by the current world champion, this was a tremendous result for Adam and we congratulate him on his success.
The international Canoe is a unique and exciting sailing experience and is claimed to be one of the fastest singlehanded boats afloat. This derives from its unique design, adopting the narrow hull form inherited from its ancient canoe origins, together with the famous sliding seat which provides a hiking experience no other boat can offer.
