RYA Performance Sailing

NOTE: This is not a course we run as standard, however we will run when demand requires. Contact the Training Team to discuss.

AIM

Aimed at performance sailing, looking at sailing with spinnakers, racing skills, trapezing, rig tuning and sail controls. Excellent course for racers or if you’re thinking of buying a higher performance boat.

DURATION

A 2 day course (a minimum of 16 hours)

REQUIRED EXPERIENCE

Sailing skills to the standard of RYA Level 2 Basic Skills/ RYA Youth Sailing Scheme Stage 4

MINIMUM AGE

Minimum age: 13yrs

Course held at Exe Sailing Club with a minimum duration of 16 hours, with a maximum ratio of, 1 instructor to 9 students in double handers, or 1 instructor to 6 students in single handers.
