RYA Powerboat Level 2
AIM
Provides the skills and background knowledge needed by the competent powerboat driver and is the basis of the International Certificate of Competence. It aims to teach boat handling and seamanship in powerboats. It focuses on low speed close quarters handling, man overboard recovery, an introduction to driving at planing speed, and collision regulations. Qualification needed if you’re keen to help out at the club.

Cost: £180 members £340 non-members (£50 deposit required)

YOU NEED TO BRING
- Powerboat gear to include
- Waterproof jacket and trousers
- Buoyancy aid (minimum 50 Newtons) or Lifejacket
- Footwear that can get wet
- Sun protection including suncream/sun hat
- Warm hat and layers for colder days
- Notebook and pen
- One Passport Photo for your certificate
- Waterbottle
- Packed lunch (extra snacks/drinks available when club bar is open)
