RYA Start Sailing (Level 1)
AIM
Aimed at adults wanting to learning to sail. Ideal for complete beginners, those who learnt to sail years ago or a conversion from yachting to dinghy sailing. Will get you sailing on all points of sail.

A 2 day course (a minimum of 16 hours)

Cost: £200 members £250 non-members

YOU NEED TO BRING
- Sailing gear to include
- Wetsuit
- Buoyancy aid (minimum 50 Newtons)
- Footwear (Grippy shoes that can get wet. Wetsuit boots or shoes, or trainers are fine, Plimsoles, Crocs or Wellies not ok)
- Swim gear and/or rash vest for under the wetsuit
- Waterproof jacket or spray top
- Towel
- Sun protection including suncream/sun hat
- Warm hat for colder days
- Waterbottle
- Packed lunch (extra snacks/drinks available when club bar is open)

ADDITIONAL DETAILS
Courses held at Exe Sailing Club with a minimum duration of 16 hours, with a maximum ratio of, 1 instructor to 3 students in double hander, or 1 instructor to 6 students in single handers.
