The RS Aero is the fastest growing fleet at Exe SC. We currently have 10 Aeros in the fleet which provides some very competitive sailing. The Aero was launched in 2014 and was designed by Jo Richards in conjunction with RS Sailing. The Aero is the 21st century Laser, it is faster, lighter and a huge amount of fun to sail from novice to experienced sailors.

The Aero is a one design boat which creates a great formula for club racing. The RS Association is a very useful resource to find out how to improve sailing your Aero.

The Aero is easy to rig and light which makes launching and recovery easy. There are 4 rig sizes to suit all abilities, allowing youths, women and men to enjoy the ride.

The Aero Fleet keeps in contact via a WhatsApp group, where individuals may use this to let others know if they intend to sail or share other useful Class information.
